FAQs - Private "Behind-The-Scales" Tours

We are located on Pine Island in Bokeelia, but do not have regularly scheduled business hours. If you schedule a visit with us, we will send you our facilities location & directions for parking.

7am-5pm, but it is by appointment only. We do not have regularly scheduled hours like a zoo or nature center as we are a private facility, not public.

We include cold bottled waters for anyone visiting. Besides water, we do not offer any concessions, so please bring any snacks you'd like and drinks other than water.

Close-toed shoes are the only mandatory clothing item. Dress appropriately for the weather in SW Florida at the time of your visit- you can leave bags/items safely inside if needed.

Our facility provides forever homes to around 50 different species of reptiles. Totaling 150+ animals! Snakes, turtles, lizards, tortoises, alligators & more!

All ages! By request, we can setup sand & water sensory stations with shells and toy reptiles/animals if you have kids under 5 years old

We limit groups to 6 people, but you can schedule larger groups. The larger groups will be split between 2 of our animal educators with one group inside while the other is outside.
