We have 52 various species, totaling over 150 individual animals that call our Sanctuary home as of 1-1-2023. Mango was purchased and returned to one of our community partners 3+ times. They knew she would have a permanent home at our facility, and would never be displaced again, so she became one of our permanent animal ambassadors! She is albino, but you can still see her markings!

Lucky for her, he was an animal steward, and after a few calls were connected, she found her way to us. We're unsure of how long she was roaming S.W. Florida before being captured, but it was long enough for her to get some wild instinct. We try to bring her to as many programs as possible, but she makes that decision, not us.

We got a call to come pick up flower in December of 2012. A college student had been watching her for a roommate for months, and ran out of mice. They called us after not being able to reach the owner for more food. Clearly never handled and scared, we witnessed her attempting to bite the wind if it blew hard enough. Our staff has spent countless hours holding her in attempts to make her friendly, and although better, she is still unpredictable, and therefore is shown in programs from inside her enclosure. We continue to handle flower in hopes a good temperament may blossom.
Our newest Ball Python, Saba, was donated October 2017 by a personal friend of Adam and his animals. A rare donation, she has been very well taken care of, receiving the proper food, as well as having perfect living conditions for ball python to thrive. Traveling from Washington to Florida before receiving her, Saba is great on car rides
Our newest Ball Python, Saba, was donated October 2017 by a personal friend of Adam and his animals. A rare donation, she has been very well taken care of, receiving the proper food, as well as having perfect living conditions for ball python to thrive. Traveling from Washington to Florida before receiving her, Saba is great on car rides, and has visited hundreds of students so far. Her health and well mannered demeanor are thanks to the love and countless hours our friend spent with her. Our staff loves her dearly, and she'll continue slithering her way into peoples hearts everywhere.
Rosie recently came to us after being surrendered to a partner of Adam's Animal Encounters. She has a great demeanor, and at around 6 feet long, is a wonderful ambassador to take to local programs.
Sierra was donated to us in October 2013 after an outreach. Sierra was donated to us in October 2013 after an outreach. Our animal ambassadors came to his home for a birthday party, and after the show, he walked into his home, and came back out holding Sierra. "I want you to have him, he will have more friends with you". Ball pythons are not social animals, but after speaking with his mom, and arranging visitation rights, Sierra came home with us that day and is one of 3 ball pythons housed at our facility. The boy is in high school now, and still comes to visit Sierra 1-2 times a year at Adams Animal Encounters to say hello, and take a ssssssssssssselfie
She was donated by one of the departments in Cape Coral Parks & Rec, as she tends to be "nippy". We have been working on her attitude, and she comes to programs often and can be seen in our minizoo!
Ruby came to us recently from a young man who took incredible care of her. She eats well, and enjoys spending time climbing around her enclosure. We are happy to have her as part of our animal family here, and look forward to educating you about Ruby's role on our planet!
Larry and his friend Sheldon came from one of Adam's friends and their kids who took great care of them both. They are permanent residents of Adam's Animal Encounters, and currently have a new home being designed!
More to come...
More to come on this surrendered pet...
Bowser was donated in 2013 from a local nature park. Despite having been in captivity for so long, he is still FAR from being tame!
Oliver was one of Adam's very first adoptions. He came into CNCP, and already having a male of the same species, they could not home him. Adam took in Oliver in 2012.
Snappy was donated in 2016 from the same local nature park Bowser came from a few years earlier. They could be relatives!
Squirt and Crush are albino red eared sliders. Albinism is what gives them their yellow color and is a lack of a pigment called melanin in their skin, skell, and eyes. These siblings became part of Adam's animals in 2012
Charlotte comes to us from a college student who lost interest in her. She was donated in 2013 and has been viewed by thousands of students since. She loves to "hang out" upside down at the top of her enclosure, which has caught many students by surprise!
